With the upcoming release of Gnarbox’s second product, they wanted to develop some improved packaging that feels premium and elegant, with a nice opening experience. They also plan to take this version into retail, so we had to consider all the requirements for packaging for retail, as well as develop options for a POS system and an accessory lineup of products to sell the whole system.
Through a variety of structural solutions, each with a different opening experience, we were able to provide Gnarbox with a range of packaging options to choose from and refine. Working harmoniously with each of the packages, our team developed 4 unique concepts for the primary product and accessories that maintained a clean, minimal look with elegant type treatments and product imagery. We continued this new look into the POS system to cohesively bring everything together. For the meeting, we prepared white samples for each of our structures and we utilized our local vendor to create thermoform trays to give the client a complete mock up and understanding of the opening experience.
