Prima was a new brand looking to make a big impact on the market with their launch. They loved the look of clear glass for their products with a heavy sham to add weight and a premium feel. The cap also was very important to them to have the right height ratio to balance with the glass bases. And we would be developing a line of products for them, so these ideas had to work across a family of products.
This bottles and jars have a thick sham/heel that is completely clear and rounded at the base. The sham required significant amount of clarity because the client wanted it to be completely clear without any coating/deco. Starting at the line of the bottle heel, we added an ombre frost—getting this to line up well was challenging. The client also used a satin finish hot stamp because they did not want a significant amount of shine on the hot stamp. In the end, all the custom jars and bottles turned out phenomenal and the client brand has been thriving!
